Social Media Manager (80% -100%)

For this temporary position, we seek a talented Social Media Manager to administer our social media accounts. You will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. You will manage our organisation’s image cohesively to achieve our communication goals. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our organisation's views creatively.

You monitor compliance with our social media guidelines and ensure adherence to branding/co-branding worldwide. And you also develop training materials and courses for our employees.

As a Social Media Manager, we expect you to be updated with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.

Tasks

  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Set specific objectives and KPIs
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Collaborate with our communication staff, thematic experts, and project staff all around the world
  • Plan and develop social media campaigns
  • Communicate effectively to all stakeholders, including senior management and content developers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, internet marketing or a related field
  • 3+ years of professional content curation and social media marketing experience
  • Proven track reckord of growing and retaining social audiences
  • Sound knowledge of key tools for analytics and planning
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English; Spanish a plus
  • Aptitude for writing and editing engaging content
  • Advanced image and video editing skills 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
