Morocco has a constantly evolving socio-economic landscape, characterized by sustained economic growth and continuous efforts to strengthen the labor market. However, high unemployment (averaging 13.5%) remains a pressing issue, with the highest unemployment rates observed among young adults aged 15 to 24 and women.
There are two main reasons for these challenges:
This is where the C4EE Coaching Cycle comes in, addressing these gaps and supporting young people in their professional integration.
The project aims to enhance the economic integration of the target group into the labor market. To achieve this, an innovative coaching cycle has been introduced, developed in collaboration with the University of Lucerne. This approach has proven highly effective in promoting employment and entrepreneurship among disadvantaged young men and women.
The "Coaching for Employment and Entrepreneurship" (C4EE) method integrates individual and collective components, with a strong focus on mentoring and guidance from trained coaches.
The second phase of the project builds on the successes of the first four years and will expand the coaching program nationwide. As a result, 1,800 young adults will benefit from personalized coaching, skills development, and support in integrating into the labor market. Additionally, the coaching methodology will be officially institutionalized in collaboration with relevant local authorities.
To ensure long-term sustainability, a self-sustaining system will be established by training Master Coaches, who will in turn train new coaches for the coaching cycle.
The project aims to provide young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in Morocco with opportunities for productive and independent employment. Socially and economically disadvantaged young adults, particularly women, participate in the "Coaching for Employment and Entrepreneurship" (C4EE) program, which supports their integration into the labor market. This enables them to secure their livelihoods and those of their families while actively participating in society.
The goal of the second phase is to institutionalize this approach among local stakeholders, ensuring the long-term support of disadvantaged young men and women in their self-employment opportunities.
