Enhance Commercial Orientation of Agriculture Technologies

This intervention area (IA) has been a guiding factor for MIGIP after the first 2 years. This IA brought MIGIP in touch with the Government, research institutes, other projects. This helped to identify Conservation Agriculture as niche for MIGIP. It helped to shape up the design of  ISA. Some of the key achievements are long lasting and is fully systemic, i.e. the establishment of Cambodia Conservation Agriculture and Sustainable Intensification Consortium (CASIC), Agribusiness Machinery Association in Cambodia (AMAC), Bos Khnor Roadmap, InGuider model, to name a few.

• Establishing Cambodia Conservation Agriculture and Sustainable Intensification Consortium (CASIC)
• Establishing Agribusiness Machinery Association in Cambodia (AMAC) with support from Department of Agriculture Engineering (DAEng)
• Promoting no-till services in Conservation Agriculture Service with a Fee (CASF) with CE SAIN and Kansas State University (KSU)'s The Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Collaborative Research on Sustainable Intensification (SIIL)
• Institutionalizing systems at Bos Khnor Conservation Agriculture Research Station with support from Department of Agriculture Land Resource Management (DALRM)
• Strengthening InGuider, an Internship Program for Royal University of Agriculture (RUA)
