FACEJ highlights

FACEJ has implemented a multi-faceted strategy to support young entrepreneurs. By adopting a demand-driven approach, it has offered personalized financial and operational support and established a culture of accountability through contractual partnerships. The program has invested in ongoing training and skills development, creating a collaborative network of entrepreneurs and facilitators. In the face of challenges, FACEJ has been responsive and adaptable, demonstrating its ability to evolve to meet the changing needs of entrepreneurs.
DEMAND-DRIVEN APPROACH

FACEJ has introduced a demand-led approach specifically designed to meet the needs of motivated young entrepreneurs, whatever their sector of activity. This method consists of providing local financial and operational support, with an emphasis on rigorous economic management. Young entrepreneurs benefit from personalised support that helps them to develop their projects sustainably and effectively. This approach has also made it possible to scale up support thanks to a system of funding for facilitators, which has improved their productivity.

CONTRACTUAL PARTNERSHIP APPROACH

FACEJ established a culture of accountability by formalizing relationships between various players through contracts. Each stakeholder, including young entrepreneurs, facilitators, banks, and consultancies, is required to adhere to clear commitments. This approach encouraged new businesses to enter the formal sector, ensuring better economic integration and greater sustainability of the supported projects.

INVESTMENT IN SKILLS & SOCIAL NETWORKS

Ongoing training for facilitators and young entrepreneurs is a key success factor for FACEJ. The program offers skills enhancement through coaching, structured training, access to specific knowledge, and peer networking. This comprehensive support model strengthens both technical and soft skills. Peer exchanges, supported by the networks created, contribute to a collaborative and supportive environment.

RÉACTIVITÉ ET CAPACITÉ D'ADAPTATION

FACEJ has demonstrated remarkable responsiveness and adaptability in the face of various challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, insecurity, political instability and international economic sanctions. Despite these obstacles, the programme has adjusted its methods to continue supporting young entrepreneurs. For example, the introduction of green projects midway through the programme has helped to diversify opportunities and respond to current environmental concerns. This flexibility testifies to FACEJ's ability to evolve in line with needs and realities on the ground.
