The Scientific Advisory Board is an advisory body that deals with the technical positioning of Swisscontact in the areas of development policy and development approaches for reaching sustainable impact at scale.
Relevant contributions are foreseen in the following areas:
Developing and revisiting the Swisscontact development strategy, thus helping the foundation in strategic positioning and thought leadership
Contribution to linking scientific research with development cooperation practice with regard to the quality and impact of projects (evidence-informed programming and implementation)
Scientific supervision of selected projects and thematic areas of competence of the foundation, as well as in new development fields of Swisscontact (partnerships, scientifically accompanied innovation)
