Certification was awarded to overall 360 youth, namely 193 trainees in the areas of Electrical Installation, 135 in Civil Locksmithing, 22 in Preventive Car Maintenance and 10 in Plumbing. The trainees completed CV2 of the National Vocational Qualifications Framework at the Centros de Formação Profissional Salesiano na Matola, Centro de Formação Profissional São José em Lhanguene, Centro de Formação Profissional das Obras Públicas e Centro de Formação Profissional de Mumemo, all duly accredited by ANEP, in line with quality requirements and ensuring that young people who graduate from these institutions receive certificates recognised by the Mozambican state.
Additionally, the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) program has certified 16 trainers who are now equipped to assess and certify experienced workers. This certification provides professionals the opportunity to formalize skills acquired on the job, opening doors to new career growth opportunities.
During the ceremony, RPL certificates were awarded to four professionals in auto mechanics and plumbing. Their achievements represent a significant step in strengthening Mozambique’s vocational education system.
