Sara Usinger, an experienced start-up ecosystem expert, delivered the keynote. With a strong background in working with start-ups, Sara spent three years as a Project Leader for EU for Innovation at Swisscontact, supporting the Startup Ecosystem and Community Development in Albania. She focused on assisting local ESOs and fostering international connections. Prior to that, she worked as an Entrepreneur in Residence with Ecosystem Actors across the Balkan region, founded Hatch Colab (an Impact Accelerator in Switzerland), and co-founded Avatech, her first professional start-up accelerator in Iran, which she managed for three years. Sara began her journey in the start-up world by helping to establish and operate STARTPLATZ, a co-working space in Cologne, Germany.
The 13th Give a Day aimed to introduce and share about the ESO Readiness Toolkits and explore discussion on the growth and potential of the ESOs and their programs, Resilience and New Business Model for ESOs and to align the needs of ESOs, Start-ups, Investors, and donors within the ecosystem. The Give a Day event was organized at Hotel Cambodiana and was attended by over 40 participants.
