For EEPO, the OKR system will not only streamline internal operations but also significantly improve the efficiency and impact of its services for Ukrainian businesses.

We’ve launched a collaboration with the Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office (EEPO) to implement the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) system — a strategic framework that will serve as the foundation for EEPO’s long-term development in both export promotion and entrepreneurship support.

OKRs are a modern goal-setting methodology that helps organizations focus on strategic priorities, monitor progress in real time, and achieve ambitious results.

The first step in this process was a strategic session, where we laid the groundwork for a five-year OKR framework. The next phase will involve practical training sessions for the entire EEPO team, helping them gain a deeper understanding of the OKR approach and define specific goals for the next two quarters.

"In times of war and constant change, it’s especially important for EEPO to have clear strategic priorities. Implementing OKRs will help us stay focused, adapt to challenges, and effectively support Ukrainian businesses."

This initiative is a key step toward strengthening EEPO’s institutional resilience — ensuring a lasting impact on the development of Ukraine’s export potential and entrepreneurship landscape.

Swiss Import Promotion Programme
The Swiss Import Promotion Programme (SIPPO) is a well-established mandate of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) within the framework of its economic development cooperation. The programme has been implemented by Swisscontact since 2017 and is now in phase 2 (2021-2025).

The overall objective of SIPPO is to integrate developing and transition countries into world trade. In a facilitation role, SIPPO advises and supports so-called Business Support Organisations (BSOs) in 12 partner countries. Through innovative and targeted export promotion services, BSOs strengthen the export capabilities of companies intending to export and facilitate market access and exports to Switzerland, the EU, and regional markets.
