President of Chevron Bangladesh visited Swisscontact’s Youth Skill Development Project Uttoron

President of Chevron Bangladesh Eric M. Walker visited Chevron funded, youth skills development project Uttoron in Dhaka. Uttoron provides mobile phone servicing training in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) area through a partnership with Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM). During the visit, Eric M. Walker talked with the trainees about joining the training and their aspiration. The trainees demonstrated their skills through practical work to Mr Walker and other delegates from Chevron and Swisscontact. Mr Walker also gave training completion certificate to the mobile phone servicing trade trainees at the end of the visit. Imrul Kabir Chowdhury, Director, Corporate Affairs, Chevron Bangladesh, Mujibul Hasan, Country Director-Swisscontact Bangladesh, Mohammad Dr Ehsanur Rahman, Executive Director, DAM was also present at the event. Other than mobile servicing operation, Uttoron provides training on Packaging and Finishing Operation, Electrical Installation and Maintenance and Welding trade in Dhaka. Uttoron has partnered with UCEP and DAM to impart the Dhaka north and south city corporation training.
