Swisscontact in Bangladesh becomes a member of Switzerland-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SBCCI)

Swisscontact Bangladesh strengthened its partnerships with local and international businesses by becoming the member of SBCCI. 

Swisscontact in Bangladesh became a member of Switzerland-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SBCCI) from September 2021. Mr. Saad Omar Fahim (Secretary General of SBCCI), Dr. Afroz Jalil (Executive Committee Member of SBCCI) and Mr. Mohammad Mohiuddin Bhuiyan (Coordinator of SBCCI) visited the Swisscontact’s office in Dhaka for an introductory meeting on 3rd October 2021. Mr. Mujibul Hasan (Country Director), Mr. Alamgir Kabir (Head of Business Administration), Mr. Helal Hussain (Head of Portfolio), Mr. Fazle Razik (Team Leader – ASTHA Project), and Ms. Bipasha S. Hossain (Senior Technical Advisor) attended the meeting on behalf of Swisscontact. SBCCI is a non-profit voluntary organisation of individuals and companies from both Bangladesh and Switzerland. Swisscontact’s direct engagement with SBCCI is another step of the organisation to develop and strengthen its partnerships with local and international businesses and increase the range of opportunities for the partners and people that Swisscontact serves in Bangladesh.
