Alina Oupravanh

Alina Oupravanh joined Swisscontact Lao PDR in October 2024 as the Technical Project Officer for Income Generation and MRM Support. In this role, she focuses on enhancing the technical capacity of Lao civil society organizations, particularly youth and women, to address environmental challenges such as waste management and stakeholder coordination. She also plays a key role in promoting recycling systems that generate green jobs and drive sustainable practices across Lao PDR.

Before joining Swisscontact, Alina worked as an Environmental and Social Consultant at Earth Systems Co., Ltd., where she was responsible for conducting environmental and social impact assessments and developing concept notes on sustainable practices in forest management, mining, and renewable energy. Through her strategic recommendations, she supported investors and governments in advancing environmentally sustainable development and responsible resource management. Alina holds a Master’s degree in Agricultural Environmental Management Engineering. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, watching movies, and spending time with her family and friends.
