Souphanith Phaengmala

Souphanith Phaengmala joined Swisscontact Lao PDR in August 2024 as Technical Project Officer for Awareness Raising and Networking under the SCP Lao Project. She is responsible for assisting steering and coordination of Component 2 regarding awareness raising and networking which prioritize on environmentally conscious behavior change.

Previously, she worked as a Communication Officer with Norwegian People’s Aid Lao PDR in Mine Action and Disarmament that highlighted the several aspects of operations of UXO survey and clearance: beneficiaries’ case stories, and Explosive Ordnance Risk Education. Souphanith Phaengmala holds a Bachelor Degree of Environmental Sciences. In free time, she enjoys drinking coffee and sitting in a cafe, reading environment and general news.
