Phatthakhone Sivongxay

Phatthakhone Sivongxay joined Swisscontact in February 2025 as the Provincial Technical Coordinator for Waste to Value Project, based in Vang Vieng district, Vientiane province, which he takes responsibilities in ensuring high-quality coordination and technical implementation of the Waste to Value project in Vang Vieng. This includes leading field activities, fostering partnerships, maintaining project processes, and contributing to monitoring and evaluation to achieve project objectives effectively.   

From 2019 to 2024, Phatthakhone worked at Caritas Luxembourg, progressing through various roles in project management. He began as a Project Assistant from September 2019 to June 2021, where he assisted in project planning, budgeting, and reporting while monitoring outputs and facilitating communication between government counterparts and project teams. He then served as a Project Officer from June 2021 to December 2023, supporting project planning and implementation, ensuring high-quality activities, and maintaining strong relationships with local partners. In January 2024, he became a Provincial Technical Advisor, providing technical support for planning, implementing, and monitoring projects focused on nutrition and disaster risk reduction.

Phatthakhone is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Planning and Development at the National University of Laos. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics of International Commerce from the same institution and a Diploma in English for Business from KAVINE College.
