Phonethip Xayasena

Phonethip Xayasena joined Swisscontact as a Senior Administrator Officer in November 2024. In this role, she supports the finance and administration team to complete all tasks to ensure the smooth operation of Swisscontact’s country operation in Lao PDR. This includes administrative tasks such as procurement, HR, travel bookings, managing suppliers and vendors, liaising with representatives of government agencies and general office support. 

Phonethip graduated from Savanh Business Administration College in 2008 and completed a Diploma of Finance and Banking from Rattana Business Administration College in 2013. 

Prior to joining Swisscontact, Phonethip began her career in 2016 as an Administration and HR Officer at CIT LAO in Vientiane Capital. She then joined RMA Lao Co. Ltd. as an Administration and HR Coordinator for 3 years. From 2021 to 2023, she served as an Executive Assistant to the Director General before spending another year as a Provincial Sales Manager in 7 provinces for Best Telecom LTD. Additionally, Phonethip runs her own business, "Ban Ya Shop," which specializes in cotton fabric and handicrafts.
